Especially when it’s a family and a wedding tradition rolled into one. Emily’s parents, as well as Adam’s parents, eloped. And when a couple-in-love are in grad school, on a tight budget, and – into traditions, they sometimes elope too. Inspired by Northern Ireland (where she studied) and St. Patrick’s Day, Emily and Adam picked this past week to tie the knot at the local courthouse, surrounded by twenty family members (they had some notice). Afterwards, everyone sat down for brunch at Le Cafe De Paris with homemade almond biscotti wedding favors. Makeup by Gabrielle Marcantonio for Bobbi Brown.
no comments Despite it being winter, there was a mild day this month that was perfect for photographing Annelise and Blake’s engagement session. Everything we needed was found on their family farm: natural and vibrant colors, lots of great light, and incredibly happy couple. Toss in a couple of warm sweaters… and you have paradise found. With the pro help of Craig Edwards of Craig + Co, Annelise and Blake are busy bringing their late-summer wedding plans to fruition.
